Satori Seal’s NSF gaskets are well suited for use in applications such as valves, faucets and water filters for use with drinking water that require ANSI/NSF61 certification. Satori has NSF rubber gasket compounds in Nitrile, EPDM and Silicone ranging in hardness from 50 to 90 Shore A with several compounds that are chloramine resistant. Nitrile NSF compounds offer good temperature range at a competitive price. EPDM compounds offer a wider temperature range than Nitrile compounds and is recommended for use with water and steam. EPDM compounds with peroxide cure are recommended for chloramine resistance. Silicone NSF compounds are recommended for use where extreme temperature resistance is required. Silicone has a temperature range from -65°C to +230°C [-85rF to +450°F].
